NOTHING LIKE GOOD HEALTH – Adaikpo, former Attorney General

The former Delta State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Vincent Nwabuwe Adaikpo, has stated that there is “Nothing Like Good Health”.

FORMER DELTA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, ADAIKPO CRIES OUT FOR HELP

The Abavo born lawyer who is now visually impaired, made the above comment during a visit to his Boji Boji Owa residence by some press men and staff of Ika Weekly Newspaper on Thursday, March 29, 2018. The visit by the team was to formally hand over, food items and cash, donated by some spirited individuals who extended their hands of affection to him after reading about his predicament published at the back page of Ika Weekly Newspaper, Vol 4: No 51, dated Saturday March 24 to Saturday, March 31, 2018.

Mr. Augustine Ekamagule while presenting the cash and food items, to Barr. Adaikpo, informed him, that the visit was prompted by the his cry for help from members of the public occasioned by his deteriorating state of health, hence some persons have decided to make their personal donations to him and urged him to use the money and items judiciously, while urging the public, individuals, corporate bodies and organizations to also follow suit.

The items donated include, a bag of rice, one gallon of groundnut oil, soap and toiletries all donated by Prophet Joseph Igbodo, the General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, while the cash of #20,000 was donated by Dr. Mrs. Isioma Okobah, the Chairman Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Asaba and Ika Weekly Newspaper Management, #10,000 each respectively.

Receiving the cash and food items, Barr. Vincent Adaikpo expressed his gratitude to all who have stretched out their hands of charity to him and specially appreciated Barr. P.C. Dunkwu and his friends for their wonderful support to him, when he first solicited for financial support in the past. He also thanked Prophet Igbodo, Dr. (Mrs.) Isioma Okobah and the management of Ika Weekly Newspaper for their love towards him.

He prayed that God in his boundless mercies stretch out His Hands of blessings and His power of restoration to all of them for their benevolence and kind gesture towards him.
