Thursday, October 18, 2018 was a joyous and memorable day as the Provost, College of Education, Agbor, Chief Dr. Joseph Ukadike in company of the entire management of the College paid a ‘thank you’ visit to Mr. Ndudi Don Agholor, a community leader and successful businessman for facilitating the approval of the University of Benin Masters Degree Programme to the College.

The colourful event which took place at the palatial Shettima Dynasty Estate owned by Mr. Agholor at Alihame, Agbor, Ika South LGA of Delta State had in attendance, representatives from the Royal Palace of the Dein of Agbor, community leaders and members of the Agbor Community.
In his ‘thank you’ speech, Dr. Ukadike expressed his appreciation on behalf of the College Community to Mr. Agholor for giving the school a landmark achievement in making the approval of the Masters Degree Programme to the college a reality, saying that since he assumed office, several efforts made to the Delta State University Abraka to approve the programme had been a mirage until he took the issue to Mr. Agholor who using his contacts and prowess as an achiever lived up to his promise by ensuring that the University of Benin approved the Masters Degree Programme for the college. He thanked the Agbor-Nta born businessman for the laudable feat he achieved for the College, Ika Nation and Delta State in general and assured that the College will remain grateful for the remarkable achievement.
In their separate remarks, Chief Dr. Ferdinand Onyekpeze, Dr. Chukwuma Nwaonicha, Mrs. Ann Biose and others who spoke, extolled and showered encomiums on Mr. Agholor, describing him as a blessing to humanity and one who has continually made Ika land and Delta State proud.
Continuing, they called on the College authorities to reciprocate the gesture by immortalizing Agholor.
In a brief remark, Mr. Don Agholor thanked the Provost and members of the College community for appreciating him while expressing optimism that Doctorate Programme will be done in the college in no distant time. He appreciated all that attended the ceremony, assuring that he will continue to do his best in the development of both humanity and the society.
