As our Nation marks her Democracy Day, the honourable member representing Ika North East Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly- DTHA, Hon Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri, has called on his constituents and Deltans in general to use the occasion to redouble their support for the prosperity policies of the state government, which is carefully pursued to bring the expected prosperity for all Deltans.
He advised his constituents against seeing the Democracy Day as a mere celebration, but to see the occasion as a time to appreciate the gains we have made thus far as a Nation, and equally have a positive perspective towards the future of our great Nation. This, he believes, will encourage everyone to selflessly contribute his or /her quota to the growth and development of the Nation and particularly the Smart Agenda of the State Government led by his Excellency Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
Honourable Elekeokwuri, whose message was contained in a statement by his media Assistant, Comr. Victor Iwekuba, while felicitating with his constituents, the Lawmaker called on them to remain peaceful and committed to the development of the constituency and the state at large, urging them to ,”use the occasion to reflect deeply on those things that unite us and work towards strengthening them.” He also urged them to remain focused in the pursuit of a better, vibrant and more prosperous Ika North East, where all citizens are partakers of the benefit of good governance. The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to uplift the lives of his constituents and Deltans in general through his well articulated vision of effective and efficient representation and to provide maximum support for the Smart Agenda of the State Government.
He thanked his constituent for their continued support and solidarity, saying that he is humbled to represent them at the DTHA.
