The Agbor Police Divisional Headquarters, Agbor, presently is a good sight to behold in less than two months that Chief Superintendent of Police (C.S.P) George Efeizomor was posted to head the division.
Renovation work such as painting, floor tiling and perimeter fencing of the division were still ongoing as at the time our reporter visited the division. The dilapidated wooden table in the charge-room is now changed to marble form, thereby giving the charge-room a more befitting look.
Some officers of the station who spoke on the condition anonymity applauded the D.P.O, Efeizomor for taking the renovation of the division as part of his priority on assumption of office. According to them, “D.P.O Efeizomor has proven himself as a son of the soil, ever ready to support the development of Ika nation if given the opportunity. He is indeed a boss that will leave his footprint in the sand of time. Even as we thank him for his good, we pray God Almighty to reward him”.
The officers used the opportunity to also thank Agbor sons who have supported the projects. They include Noel Omodon for his assistance in the construction of marble table in the charge-room, Engr. Morgan Oriahi for donating 7.5kg generator set, Engr. Ifeanyi Nkeki for donating a gate and Hon. Philip Napoleon for lighting up the division.
Some concerned Agbor indigenes who were also happy with the ongoing renovation, also commended the D.P.O Efeizomor for being proactive for the short period he has headed the division.
In a related development, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Benjamin Ikenchukwu Keagborekuzi I, has during an unscheduled visit to Agbor Police Divisional Headquarters on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 inspected the renovation work in the division.
Beaming with smile, the monarch commended the Divisional Police Officer (D.P.O) in charge of the division, C.S.P George Efeizomor for his initiative, assuring that he will do his best to ensure that Agbor sons and daughters support the project to completion.
