ALLEDGED SUICIDE IN AGBOR AS LOVER BOY HANGS SELF

A Kwale born youth in his late twenties, whose co-tenants refer to as Victor allegedly committed suicide in a one room apartment at no 4, Monye Lane Agbor, Ika South LGA, over what his neighbors said resulted from fear of his girl friend leaving him for someone else.
The news of the shocking incident spread at about 4pm on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Meanwhile, a close source who does not want her name in print, told our reporters that Victor was obsessed with the girl friend and on several occasions stabs himself on the lap and hand after bolting his door. She further revealed that whenever he has issues with his girlfriend, premonitions of the girl leaving him takes the better part of him triggering a repeated attempt to take his life.
The source revealed that Victor was seen with his girlfriend in the morning of that fateful day as both were said to have had breakfast together at a nearby food vendor. Another source said that before Victor was found dead, he had a misunderstanding with the girl at her tailoring shop where he was said to have told the girl that his spirit will hunt her if he dies out of love for her. We gathered that by the time the girl followed him to reassure her love, Victor as usual had severely locked his door. The source said as of the time the door was broken open, the young man had died.
Earlier at around 7am, on same day, Victor was said to have engaged in exchange of words with a co- tenant over issues bothering on insecurity before this sad incident occurred.
Meanwhile, controversy trails the death of Victor as his family source said the Police in Agbor have refused to release the corpse for burial because they suspect he was murdered.
Other people who stormed the scene to catch a glimpse of the dead man also suspected that Victor may have been murdered. They appealed to the police not to witch hunt innocent neighbors but to conduct thorough investigation and carry out an autopsy to unravel the truth behind the death of a promising young man whose dreams have been cut short. As of the time of filing the report, the house where Victor died was deserted.
