Apostle (Dr.) Okenye Chuks Elisha, aka Baba Fire, the General Overseer of Wind Of Change Deliverance Ministry, the fastest growing Pentecostal church in Agbor, Delta State and environs, has reiterated the prophecy that God told him earlier last year that this year, there is going to be a new Nigeria, despite the prevailing socioeconomic challenges confronting the country.
The Christian cleric spoke recently via a telephone interview as part of activities lined up to commemorate the 14th year of his Ministry and marriage.
The Preacher who recently commissioned a three thousand seating capacity Auditorium, however, admonished Nigerians to keep faith with the administration as all will be well in no distant time.
In his words, yes, there is hope. God told me last year that this year (2023), there is going to be a new Nigeria. And I believe him. Like the prophecy God gave me late last year that the first half of this year is going to be like a movie. But the Lord said ‘After then, there’s going to be a new Nigeria’. There is hope for the country. We continue praying and continue believing.

Apostle Okenye who has so many materialized prophecies to his credit used the opportunity provided by the media parley to recall his major revelation before the 2023 general election in Nigeria, where he saw an old man in power.
According to him, that particular prophecy was titled; an old man in the seat of power of Nigeria’. And, it came to pass.
While noting that the country needs to be restructured and long overdue for state policing, the Man of God argued that state police have become very imperative if the nation is going to fight insecurity.
‘He should take steps that allow every state to create and handle their police and let the vigilante be empowered. Like here in Agbor, the police are doing a wonderful job. But most of the security related jobs are done by the vigilante. I believe that if they (vigilantes) are well empowered and given monthly salaries, they will definitely do more’.
The Abavo, Ika South Local Government Area born Preacher further stated; ‘The president is doing well, because the present decay in the country did not start in his time. When you have a dead dog, and you are asked to bring it back to life, it’s going to take the grace of God to do so. So, I suggest that the president should convene a meeting with all the past leaders.
‘The country is bigger than one party. This is not the time to say I am a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), I am APC. He should seek help. He should have a meeting with all these past leaders. Let them begin to share ideas together. I believe in doing that, it’s going to work.
‘Also, I like what the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) is presently doing as a body. Let them go after all those people that have siphoned or are siphoning funds in the country. Like what my brother is going through now which we are praying that they release him, the past CBN governor’.
The anointed man of God further underlined that Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the immediate past CBN governor is not the worst in terms of corruption, noting that there are people in this country who embezzled money more than him. He contended that if all the politicians know that when you embezzle public funds, EFCC will come after you, they will use the money to work.
‘Nigeria has so much money. Nigeria is not supposed to be begging but our politicians are carrying the money to themselves. Also, when the president was campaigning, he promised to reduce the allowance and the money for the Senators, House of Reps, House of Assembly, if elected. But up till now, nothing has been done now. They’re still collecting money in bags. So, let them know that the country is growing and let them sacrifice. As you are telling the people you are ruling to sacrifice, those that are in positions of authority should also sacrifice. So if we’re able to do that, we will discover that everything will begin to align’.
Again, I like what the CBN is doing now concerning foreign currencies. We cannot be in Nigeria and spend dollars more than we spend Naira. If we begin to give more recognition to Naira than Dollars, everything will begin to align. I think with this, it will help. The Pastor concluded.
