They disclosed that Hon. Festus Okoh never provided any money for the repair of the transformer, describing the report as false.

They noted that he has been approached severally and made them promises which according to them were not fulfilled, stressing that it was the Benin Electric Distribution Company (BEDC) that refurbished the transformer, installed and distributed light to the area which has been in darkness for two years.

According to them, “Hon. Festus Okoh never provided kobo. If he intends to provide any money for that, he should let the people know. We want to witness the presentation of cheque or money to the BEDC.

Alibuba has been abandoned. We need good access road with drainage system. He made several unfulfilled promises. We are totally disappointed. No government representation. It is annoying that somebody who is representing us is giving false information, claiming what he did not do. We are part of the society and this urban area.”

Continuing, Mr. Nwokoro and Mr. Okoh appealed to government to come to their aid, saying that they have not benefitted anything good since the dispensation of democracy in Delta State. They commended the present BEDC Manager in Agbor, Mr. Timothy Adeleye for his good job, saying that they are grateful.
