BISHOP ELUE APPLAUDS DONOR OF ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC HOSPITAL

The Catholic bishop of Issele-Uku Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Michael Odogwu Elue, has appreciated the effort of a US based Alihagwu illustrious son, Mr. Bernard Agholor, for his kind gesture of building a hospital for the benefit of his immediate community and that of the Diocese.
The bishop who poured encomium on Mr. Agholor, on Tuesday January 10th 2023, while in the company of the Parish Priest of St. John’s the Baptist Catholic church, Agbor, Monsignor Dr. Peter Uzor, Rev. Fr. Victor Ofili, of Holy Rosary, Abavo, Rev. Fr. Jude Iloba of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Alihagwu, Rev. Fr. Jude Onyebade and the personal assistant to the bishop, Rev. Fr. Kasmir Irechukwu to inspect the hospital, St. Joseph Catholic Hospital, Alihagwu.

Bishop Elue rated the project as a blessing of God to mankind through an individual, saying that God has used him to bless and answer the prayers of many.
In his words, “This project is properly planned and executed for the good of humanity and to the glory of God.
According to the, bishop “The country Nigeria, is where it is today because of greed and self-centeredness of people. Many people are faced with hardships, scarcity of wants, while others have stored treasures and resources that they cannot exhaust in their whole lifetime, for their generations yet unborn.
While encouraging all who have the resources to help others in the little ways they can, pointed out that the oxygen which we breathe in and the carbon dioxide, we breath out is free from God and is sufficient for every individual, despite our status.
