CHUKY DANDY INSPECTS ELECTRICAL WORK AT INEC OFFICE

The Delta State House of Assembly member representing Ika South Constituency, Hon. Festus Okoh popularly known as Chuky Dandy recently paid an unscheduled visit to the office of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ika South Local Government Area.

During the visit, the honourable member inspected the offices particularly the re-connection of electrical wires within the premises which was reportedly vandalized by hoodlums that burgled the office some few months ago.

It was gathered that Chuky Dandy in his concern to ensure that his constituents are not disenfranchised as a result of the vandalization which stalled the registration exercise process, donated electrical wires and also paid the workers under the supervision of the Electoral Officer in-charge, Mr. Arinze Augustine.

Chuky Dandy was on the inspection visit with some executive members of Agbor Community Union among who are Comr. Benedict Ebede and Barr. Ndidi Ofume.

Speaking to the press, Chuky Dandy expressed satisfaction over the work done. He commended him for the quick re-connection of the electrical wires as directed before the second round of the continuous voter’s registration exercise which commenced on the 7th of November, 2017.

Speaking further, Chuky Dandy observed that the security office of the centre has also been fixed and thereby assured them of joining effort with the police in Agbor to ensure that INEC office is 24 hours protected.

Meanwhile, he urged Ika South eligible voters who are yet to register for their voter’s card to go and register to enable them have their own voter’s card.
