The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) has granted full accreditation to the entire 26 Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes presented by College of Education, Agbor, Delta State.

Beaming with smile, the Provost of the College, Dr. Joseph O. Ukadike, said the full accreditation status was granted by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) following the College’s performance in the accreditation exercise conducted in September this year. He attributed the huge success to adequate preparation, hard work and commitment on the side of the management, staff and students of the college, and in all wonderful supports from the Delta State government under the administration of the amiable Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

According to him, “It is another good thing happening to the College of Education, Agbor, because only very few tertiary institutions can record this type of success in accreditation of academic programme. Our institution recorded full accreditation for all the academic programmes presented which of course represented 100 percent. It is a thing of joy and I am thankful to God for this great achievement. I want to use this medium to sincerely appreciate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for supports and pray the good Lord to grant him his heart desire”.

Dr. Ukadike thanked the accreditation team for their fair judgment, revealing that the University of Benin recently approved Master Degree programme for the College to run. He also disclosed that the teaching of Ika and Ukwuani languages will commence in the College soon, saying that the institution is currently calling for admission into the respective programmes in the college for the 2018/2019 academic session.

The Provost of the College when asked the secret behind his success story responded that it is the favour of God and not his own power, thanking all who have supported the institution.
