The Delta State Commissioner of Police, C.P Zanna Muhammed Ibraham, recently visited Galilee Police Station (GPS) and the on-going multi-million naira university projects Owerre-Olubor Community along Ute-Ogbeje road in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State. The police station which was built by Mr. Paul Odili, an illustrious son of Ute-Ogbeje Community will be commissioned and handed over to the Delta State government on Thursday November 23, 2017. The building contains several offices including cells and Armory among other important security operational offices. Speaking with newsmen in an interview shortly after the inspection of the Galilee University and the police station, the Commissioner of Police in Delta State, C.P. Zanna Muhammed Ibrahim commended the philanthropist, Mr. Paul Odili whom he described as a true illustrious son of Ika land. While describing the security project as a welcome development, the CP noted that if all wealthy Delta sons and daughters are like Paul Odili insecurity issues in the state would have reduced to its barest minimum saying, that Delta state particularly her various communities would have been developed.IMG-20170914-WA0026 DELTA STATE CP INSPECTS  INSTITUTION, COMMENDS PAUL ODILI
The commissioner while calling on other illustrious sons and daughters of the state to emulate the kind gesture of Paul Odili by bringing developmental projects to their communities, charged all Deltans to be law abiding citizens and advised them to engage in activities that will help fight criminal acts and bring more development to the state. Also speaking, the co-ordinator Paul Odili Foundation and councilor representing Ute-Ogbeje community, Hon. Prince Kobindi Ogana, on behalf of his principal thanked the commissioner of Police and members of his entourage for deeming it fit to inspect the on-going projects in his community He noted that the police station was built by his Mentor, Mr. Paul Odili popularly known as “Paulo” to assist the state government in fighting criminal acts and other social vices in the state. On his part, the Secretary to Ika NorthEast Local Government Council, Hon. Stephen Chiadika appreciated Paul Odili for a job well done in Ika Land in particular and Delta State in general. He therefore called on the good residents of Ute-Ogbeje and its environs to always cooperate with the security agency that would be posted to the area when the police station is commissioned in November this year.
