DTHA 2019 ELECTION: NO GOING BACK – Dennis Araro

Chief Dennis Nduka Araro, The Onyewebuodason of Abavo kingdom, an Ika South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State House of Assembly hopeful, has reaffirmed his readiness to contest for the 2019 Delta State House of Assembly Ika South Constituency election emphasizing that there is “no going back on the decision.”

Chief Araro, who also doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Dansa Motors Agbor, made the statement during an interactive session with newsmen at his office, on Tuesday September 4, 2018, before leaving for Asaba, to return his nomination and expression of interest form at the PDP secretariat which he collected the previous week. Speaking with pressmen, he disclosed that, haven finished filling the forms, he was on his way to submit it, which according to him was an indication that he is fully in the race, emphasizing that there was never a time, he had it in mind to step down for anybody, maintaining that he is fully prepared for the election and will never step down for anybody.

Continuing, he stated that he felt this was his time, having been long vying for the position, saying that he is qualified and experienced to run for the office, because he has always been a home based politician; hence he knows the problems of the grass root within the local government.

Speaking further, Chief Araro, stated confidently that he was poised to win the PDP primaries, scheduled for September 15, 2018 and the general election in 2019, with the massive support of the party delegates and the electorates whose clarion call he answered. Continuing, he urged the party delegates to shun money politics and vote their conscience. In his words, “I am not saying that they should not collect money from whosoever that would offer it to them; collect the money and vote your conscience,” he concluded.

In a chat with Ika Weekly Newspaper reporter, Hon Nzeh Ewere, also known as Skala, the chairman, members of the Peoples Mandate For Okowa and Araro, said Onyewebuodason, will coast to victory at the PDP primaries. He commended the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the state and local government levels for their decision to conduct a free and fair primaries for all the aspirants, saying that “the Peoples Democratic Party has enhanced internal democracy by instituting a level playing field for all the political office seekers, as it’s the only way to build a solid political party.”

In the same vein, Comrade West Ndidi Okoh, equally appreciated the governor for providing a level playing ground for aspirants, which is an evidence of his prosperity for all Deltans programme.
