“Everyday Higher British School is a unique establishment that focuses on developing individuals who will have a positive impact on society; At our school, we have a different approach to education than traditional institutions, our goal is not to make a profit, but to shape individuals who will contribute positively to the world.”
This statement was made by Raymond Imafidon the Proprietor of Everyday Higher British School during the school’s annual graduation cum Award Giving Ceremony held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the school premises along Oriekeze Avenue Ime-Obi Agbor Ika South Local Government Area of
Delta State.
According to Mr. Raymond Imafidon “As the proprietor of the school, I believe that our society is facing various challenges and it is our responsibility to prepare the next generation to face these challenges head-on.
‘This is why we have created a curriculum that not only focuses on academic excellence but also on developing core values and life skills, our aim is to produce well-rounded individuals who are not only book-smart but also have the empathy, leadership, and critical thinking skills to become changemakers in their communities.’ He said, “Distinguished guests, esteemed parents, graduates, and students.
Today, we gather to celebrate a momentous occasion in the lives of our graduating students. I am honored to stand before you as the Proprietor of Everyday Higher British School, an institution dedicated to revolutionizing education and raising a generation of excellence.
Our journey began in 2012 when we started First Class LECTURES, an extra moral Lesson Center to prepare students for external examinations such as WAEC, NECO & JAMB UTME, driven by a vision to address the decay in our educational system. We saw a need for innovative and passionate educators to rise and make a difference. With a holistic approach, we aimed to provide a well-rounded education that combines academic excellence with moral and spiritual development.
We decided to start Higher Everyday British School in September 2022 because of our passion for addressing bad foundation in education resulting in low learning interest, moral imbalance deficiency in knowledge among over 80% of secondary school graduates from various public and private schools who attend our extra moral Lesson Center every year. We resolved that to contribute to solving this menace, we have to start a school passionate about laying a solid academic foundation, driven by an untrammeled hunger for excellence through hard work and zero tolerance for exam malpractice. In Higher Everyday British School, Agbor, we don’t see school as a business but as a mission field, where we nurture and equip young minds to impact their world.
Our staff are dedicated professionals, committed to guiding and mentoring our students. Our parents are supportive partners, who trust us to shape their children’s future. Our students are exceptional individuals, who embody the values and principles we hold dear.
As we celebrate our graduates today, we acknowledge the unwavering support and care of our teaching and support staff. Your tireless efforts have shaped our students into outstanding individuals. We appreciate the trust and partnership of our parents, who have stood by us every step of the way. We are grateful for the presence of our distinguished guests, who inspire and motivate us to strive for excellence.
To our graduates, I charge you to hold fast to the values and principles that have shaped you thus far. Embrace your creative abilities, pursue your passions, and never settle for mediocrity. You are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers that our world needs. Remember that education is a lifelong journey, and always strive to learn, grow, and improve.
As you go forth, remember that you are ambassadors of Everyday Higher British School. Carry the torch of excellence, integrity, and service with you, and make a positive impact in your communities.
We celebrate our achievements today, but we also acknowledge the challenges we have faced. We have had to be innovative and adaptable, to overcome obstacles and stay true to our vision. But through it all, we have remained committed to our mission, and we have seen the fruits of our labor.
As we look to the future, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. We will continue to innovate, to improve, and to push the boundaries of what is possible. We will remain true to our values and principles, and we will always put our students first.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let us continue to work together to shape the future of education in Nigeria. Congratulations, graduates! Congratulations, Everyday Higher British School!”
Meanwhile, the school gave awards to Dr Donald Peterson, Special Adviser to Delta State Government on Entrepreneurship, Apostle Elijah Okuokenye popularly known as Baba Fire, and a host of others.
