FAMILY OF 3, DIES MYSTERIOUSLY FIRST NIGHT IN NEW HOUSE

Tragedy struck Monday, July 10, 2023, as family of 3 was found dead in Alijemisi, Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to sources, the deceased Late Happy Lucky Omoruyi an indigene of Omumu based outside the shores of the country came back with his Ghanaian wife and their only child. They were taken to the house built for the deceased by his relatives.

Sources stated that the parents and relatives of the deceased, visited the deceased and his family to welcome them as they just came into the country. The Late Lucky Omoruyi according to sources who never knew where the house built for him was, was shown the place by one of his relatives.
Our correspondent gathered that, in the early hours of Monday, the mother of the late Lucky Omoruyi visited the deceased family with food, being that they just moved in, and the house is still under construction, they were yet to get utensils for cooking. Unfortunately, when she got to the son’s house, she knocked for a very long time but there was no response from anyone.
It was gathered that she had to call one of the siblings of the deceased, and it was when he came, that he forcefully opened the door, and behold they discovered the corpses.
The father of the deceased who spoke to our correspondent, confirmed the death of his son while revealing that the police are investigating the matter and will come up with their findings, adding that at the moment, he doesn’t know the cause of his son’s death.
As at the time of filing this report, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO. Agbor could not be reached for comment as he was said to be out, on official duty.
