HELP EXPOSE THE KILLERS OF MY HUSBAND, Wife Of Murdered Filling Station Manager Cries Out

Desire Fredrick, wife of 43-year-old murdered Filling Station Manager, Mr. Maduka Ibe Awo Fredrick, has appealed to Security Agents, Human Right Activists and well-meaning Nigerians to help ensure that justice is prevail over the untimely death of her husband.
Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter while filing this report, learnt that Mr. Maduka Ibe Awo Fredrick, was the General Manager of Cijiogs Filling Station, Owa-Oyibu.
Speaking with the reporter during an interview, held at her residence in Ime-Oyibu Quarters, Owa-Oyibu in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State, wife of the deceased, Mrs. Desire Fredrick said the last time she and her one year-old baby spent with their father was when he took them to Garage to buy Christmas Clothes for them.

According to her,” When we woke up on that fateful day date, at about 8:30 am, my husband told me and his nephew, Christian to get prepared so that we can follow him to the Garage in the town for shopping which we did.
He took us on his motor bike and on getting to the market, he spent huge amount of money in buying Christmas Clothes for our little baby, unknown to me that he was going to leave us later in the day.
“When we returned from the market, he prepared and went to the Filling Station to continue his work.
“He returned from work at about 7:45 pm and told me he was going to Idumuesah that someone called him to pick up something, then I bade him safe journey.
“In less than 20 minutes he left home with a friend he asked to accompany him on the journey, gave me the sad news which I never expected to hear in my life came that he was shot death on his way to Idumuesah and that was the last time I saw him,” she cried.
Speaking further, she passionately appealed to the Security Agencies, Human Right Activists and well-meaning Nigerians to help fish out the killers of her husband as he was all she had in life.
Also speaking, Mr. Christian Igwe, nephew to the deceased, said Mr. Maduka Ibe Awo Fredrick was the, “Bread Winner,” of the family saying that all he wants is Justice for him.
He thanked the Police for the efforts they have made so far and urged them to carry out more investigations that can lead to the arrest of all the people that are responsible for the death of his uncle, Awo as he is popularly known.
Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter also as at the time of gathering this information, confirmed that ever since the sudden death of Awo, the youths of Owa-Oyibu Community have not rested, as they have been busy mourning him, dancing round the community with the pictures of the deceased.
Unconfirmed report however has it that some members of the Vigilante Group in Idumuesah Community have been arrested in connection with the death of Awo.
Speaking in a telephone interview, the Managing Director, Cijiogs Filling Station, Rtn. Engr. Jolly Kogwu, described the untimely death of his Company’s Manager as unfortunate incident and great lost to him, his family and entire people of Owa Kingdom.
He also described him as a generous, kind, loving, hard-working person and role model to the youths. He noted that he has no regrets making him a Manager to his Filling Station.
He then prayed God to grant the gentle soul of late Mr. Frederick, eternal rest.
