He recalled that some years ago, while he was staying with one of his aunts in Lagos, there was no money to celebrate Christmas, according to him, the aunt asked them to wash the drive and pots in the house that Christmas day and take all of them to Deeper Life Convention. He revealed that they were not Deeper Life members and the children wondered what they were doing in the Deeper Life Convention.

According to him, after they had eaten breakfast and lunch there, his aunty brought them back home. The man of God noted that that Christmas, nobody died.

The clergy revealed that today, two of his aunt’s children are living in Europe and can conveniently travel to any country of their choice to celebrate Christmas.

He said some people want to eat everything end up in the hospital, adding that God so loved the world that He gave his only son. He emphasized that the bible has encouraged believers not to bother about what they will eat or wear, that if the birds of the air without working can eat, how, much more humans.

He warned, “Do not run into debt because of Christmas, do not break your home, do not push your children into nefarious activities because of Christmas. Christmas celebration will never end as long as the earth remains.” he pointed out.
