HOSTCOM INAUGURATES/ SWEARS IN IKA ETHNIC/LGA CHAPTER EXECUTIVE

The Delta State Chairman of Host Communities of Nigeria, Producing Oil and Gas, (Hostcom), Comr. Sunday Ndidi Enujeke has inaugurated and sworn-in the Ika Ethnic and Local Government Area Chapter executives in a grand style.
The inauguration cum swearing-in ceremony was held at Pace Hotel, Agbor, headquarters Ika South Local Government Area of the State on Saturday 4th February, 2023.
The event attracted several dignitaries across the State and featured lots of exciting and life-transforming programmes.

The chairman of the ceremony, Chief Andy Emeri ably represented by Dr. Okwudoroin his speech charged the newly sworn-in executives to always have the interest of the people at heart, shun selfish agendas and make transparency and accountability their priority.
In his address, the State Chairman of Hostcom, Comr. Sunday Ndidi Enujeke, charged the executives to be upright, just, fair, and responsible in the discharge of their duties as it relates to Hostcom.
He commended the effort of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, saying that he has positively impacted the well-being of Hostcom, Delta State Chapter.
High point of the ceremony was the swearing-in of the Ika Ethnic Nationality Executive by the State chairman and that of the two Local Government Areas was performed by the Chairman of Hostcom, Ika Ethnic Nationality, Comr. Obihia Amechi.
The newly elected Chairman, Comr. Obihia Amechi lauded the effort of all those who contributed to making the ceremony a success, assuring that they will build upon the legacy of their predecessors with strict adherence to the Constitution of Hostcom for the benefit of all and the State at large.
He further lauded the efforts of the Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for giving Hostcom the enabling atmosphere to operate and his giant strides in the area of infrastructural development and peaceful coexistence among Communities.
“We pledged our full support to his administration and call on Nigerians to vote for People’s Democratic Party, PDP, come 2023 general election.”, he concluded.
The convener of the program, Chief Victor Onyeka Enwefa thanked all those who came to grace the ceremony, praying that God will lead them safely back to their respective destinations.
