A newspaper vendor with an eye defect, Deacon Thomas Aigbogun who has his vendors stand situated in front of Igumbor Secondary School, Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area, has expressed appreciation to Apostle, Dr. Chuks Elisha Okenye, also known as Baba Fire, founder, Wind of Change Deliverance Ministries with headquarter at the end of Queen Street off New Benin/Asaba Expressway, Agbor, for his kindness.
According to him, “I have read very much about Baba Fire and his Church through newspaper publications
“I however came in contact with him about four months ago when he came to buy newspaper from me, and he saw me and looked at me with pity because of the defect on my eyes.
“After disclosing to Baba Fire my challenges; he assured me of his support and thereafter came back with the news that he has placed me on monthly stipends for my upkeep through his Foundation called Voice of Change Charity Organization and I have since been receiving kind gestures from him for the past four months without fail.
“A few weeks ago, I read through our local newspapers about the demise of Baba Fire’s mother, and I was making plans to go and pay my condolence before he came to see me with the fourth-month stipends.
“Indeed, Baba Fire’s love and care for me has continued to surprise me even though I do not attend his church nor knew him before now.
“But by this act of kindness, I am convinced that Baba Fire is doing the work of God in Christ-like manner.
“My family members and relatives who are aware of his benevolence to me are praying for him”, he stated.
Deacon Aigbogun further prayed to God to increase grace and anointing on Baba Fire in his ministerial work, urging him never to deviate.
In the same vein, Apostle Okenye through his Foundation on Saturday, September 11, 2021, identified with the inmates of A. Egotim Wonders of Plant Clinic in Agbor where he presented food items.

Speaking, the cleric said his Foundation was established to reach out to the needs of the masses, especially in areas of educational grant and empowerment for both old and young towards making them self-reliant and for their well-being.
He further admonished the inmates of the need to be born again in Jesus Christ for their quick healing.
Receiving the food items, Director, A. Egotime Wonders of Plant Clinic, Doctor A. Ego Ufua (TMRD) appreciated Baba Fire for his generosity and philanthropic initiative, saying that it was the act of God’s love and feeling for the downtrodden.
He further remarked that Baba Fire has done much for them starting from the building of the clinic, payment of hospital bills for the inmates, and support for their upkeep. He called on all to emulate his kindness by coming to their aid, highlighting the challenges confronting the clinic as accommodation, feeding, and rehabilitation.
Doctor Ufua stated, “The issue of lunatic welfare is a holistic responsibility for all, especially feeding at this crucial time when prices of foodstuff have gone so high”.
Also responding, the wife of Baba Fire, Rev. Ruth Elisha Okenye, also known as Mama Fire said giving is part of their ministry, hence they were inspired to establish a Foundation to reach out to more people who are in need, especially the vulnerable people in the society.
She disclosed that the name of the Foundation was uniquely chosen to bring spiritual, physical, and overall change to the lives of many people it identifies with.
