Comrade Chief Dennis Araro, an aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ika South Constituency House of Assembly slot, has in a swift reaction debunked the rumour going round that he has stepped down from the race for the elective position, emphasizing that he is still in the race and has not stepped down for anybody.
Chief Dennis Araro made the clarification at his office in Agbor recently when some of his supporters and well wishers visited him to confirm whether the rumour was true.
Addressing his supporters, Chief Araro for the umpteen time reassured them of his readiness to contest for the elective position, emphasizing that he is fully prepared for the race, saying, “there is no going back, I cannot come this far and say I want to step down for anybody, please disregard the rumour because it is not correct,” emphasizing that the aspiration is being propelled by the love he has for his people in order to render them a qualitative representation and selfless service.
Continuing, he thanked his supporters for their encouragements and commitment to the vision of Restoration 2019, which is aimed at giving the people effective, responsive and responsible representation. He also used the opportunity to call on the gathering to make sure they woo members of their environment to vote massively for Governor Okowa in 2019, so that Ika land and Delta State will further enjoy the prosperity for all Deltans Programme of the Governor till 2023.
Chief Araro further urged the leadership of the party to ensure a level playing ground of free and fair primaries, while also urging the delegates to vote their conscience; knowing that all the aspirants and party faithful are members of one united Peoples Democratic Party family, the biggest party in Africa.
