IKA SOUTH PDP WARD 8 DEBUNKS TURMOIL, PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON NWAGIMEJE, IGUMBOR, AGIDI, OKONTA

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders of Ward 8, Ika South Local Government Area during a meeting held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, debunked any turmoil in the ward. A vote of confidence was passed on John Nwagimeje, Philip Igumbor, Agidi Godwin and the Councilor representing the Ward at the Ika South Council Legislative Arm, Hon Donald Okonta.
The motion for the vote of confidence was moved by Comr. Tony Ugbejie and Seconded by Hon. Onyeka Marvin Nwagbogwu as this was the high point of the meeting.
The meeting which was convened by the Ward Chairman, Mr. Godwin Agidi at Chief Philip Igumbor’s residence in Agbor, Delta State was attended by the Leaders, Executive Officials, and Stakeholders of PDP Ward 8 as well as the Councillor representing the Ward at the Ika South Legislative Arm, Hon. Donald Okonta.
Resolutions reached in the meeting stressed that “there is no turmoil in the party, as was purported in a video making round in the social media, stating that the said video is malicious and politically motivated and as such the general public should disregard it.
“The party believes in and is satisfied with the leadership of Pa. John Nwagimejen, Chief Philip Igumbor, Godwin Agidi, and the representation of the Councillor of the Ward at the Ika South Local Legislative Arm, Hon. Rtn. Donald Okonta; stressing that the Ward is doing well and satisfactorily and the party is in safe hands.

“The leadership of Pa. John Nwagimejen, Chief Philip Igumbor, and Godwin Agidi are not contestable.
“Any member of the party having suggestions or grievances should channel such to the Office of the Ward Chairman as all members are henceforth warned to desist from taking the party’s internal affairs to the social media.
