According to her, “The birth of this association was made possible by an old student sister, Roseline Odozi, a class of 1978 to bring together Old Girls of Marymount College living in the Diaspora.
“We held our first reunion in 2016 in Maryland, USA. At the reunion, we decided to take on projects based on the needs of the school, as presented by the then principal, Rev. Sister Winfred Diagboya.
“Our first project by the alumni was the execution of N25,000,000.00 project for the fencing of the school, which was completed between 2019 and 2020.
“From 2019 through 2021, the association began and completed the re-roofing of the refectory and St. Cecilia’s dormitory.
“Also, the association has helped in advocating for a safer environment for students’ learning.
“In 2023, the alumni supported the college by providing computer sets, installing five industrial fans, five solar security lights, and different musical instruments to the tune of N5,000,000.00 (five million naira as part of the 70th-anniversary celebration).
