The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Olyniks Cakes, Mrs. Oluchwukwu Onueke has noted that her passion for baking has distinguished and stands her out among others in the business.
She made this disclosure on Wednesday 11th August 2021 during her three days Butter Cream Evolution classes which were coordinated by an International Butter Cream Designer, and the CEO of Ludy Cakes Academy Lagos, Mrs. Ludivina Muda Airachi, held at No. 11 Old Lagos/Asaba Road, Boji-Boji, Owa, Top of Oniks Super Market, opposite Okoh Street Junction.
The passionate Caterer mode is known that she has been in the business for about Fourteen years now, noting that what is required of the business is upgrading and to that effect, she embarked on the Butter Cream Evolution to step up her business noting that she is the first to bring Butter Cream Icing as far as Agbor is concerned.
Continuing, she said skill acquisition is something no individual should ignore, saying that, “With my Certificate, I felt my worth was more than just being Caterer. But, when the going became rough, I remembered I had something I could offer to the society and today, I am a fulfilled Caterer”.
Mrs. Onueke noted that with passion, she has trained so many persons who today are self-reliant. She said the fluctuating prices of catering and baking commodities in the market have really affected the business. Notwithstanding, she said she has ensured that their services and products are in line with the requirements of clients.
She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Founder of ‘D’ Peterson Foundation, Dr. Donald Peterson, who has been very supportive to the Youth in skill acquisition, makers Tarruna Butter, Sir. Alex Onwudinjor and others who have supported her students and made the upgraded class a reality, praying to God to protect and bless their various endeavour.

The baker urged all to who are waiting for white-collar jobs not to let their Certificate becloud their sense of reasoning but should engage themselves in any skill that will better their lives, adding that they should not continue to wait for the government, who has a lot on their hands and cannot do everything as expected.
On her part, the CEO of Ludy Cake Academy, Lagos, Ludivina Muda-Airahi disclosed that Butter Cream Evolution has evolved from time to time but it is now referred to as Modern Day Butter Cream, noting that the majority of caterers are not aware of it.
She said the upgrade is the magic of every business, adding that her love for design and passion for baking is what has kept her in the business for nineteen years now and urged the students to be attentive and learn something new that will improve their lives.
