The Educationist, Chief Dr. Emmanuel Tibi, the Ojenebo of Agbor Kingdom and the former Provost of the then College of Education Agbor, now the University of Delta State, Agbor (UNIDEL), disclosed that his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Pauline Tibi is the best thing that has ever happened to him.
He made this disclosure in an interview with our correspondent, on Sunday 5th September 2021 during the celebration of their 40th marriage anniversary which kicked off with a visitation to the Psychiatrist Hospital in Oki, a celebration with St. Paul the Vincent, and Thanksgiving Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Agbor, where family and friends conveyed to pray for a stronger union for the couple.
According to him, their marriage of 40 years precisely 5th September 1981 seemed like yesterday. He said he is grateful to God to have married a woman like Dr. (Mrs.) Paul who according to him is the dream of every man.
Chief Dr. Tibi disclosed that marriage is not a bed of all roses, saying that in every marriage, there are always stormy waves, but maintained that the ability to surmount the challenges is what entails a good home.

In his words, “Marriage is an institution where no spouses ever get to graduate because the learning process is endless.
“As an institution, we keep learning each other on daily basis. I am not a perfect man to be married to, but she has tolerated my excesses as time, day, months, and years progress”.
Continuing, he described his dearly beloved wife as a woman with the heart of gold and a woman to be emulated by all women. He added that his wife is a staunch Christian who prays and encourages him spiritually.
In an interview with our correspondent, Dr. (Mrs.) Pauline Tibi noted that the celebration of their 40th marital anniversary was in appreciation and thanksgiving of God’s amazing grace, reiterating that 40 years seemed to her just like yesterday.

She said, she could not thank God enough for blessings and protection all these years, noting that she could not have found a better partner other than her dearly beloved husband who according to her means the world to her.

Dr. (Mrs.) Tibi disclosed that marriage is all about tolerance and endurance for both parties to live in harmony, saying that a good home should be built on love, noting that love is patience, kind, endurance and tolerance, urging that for a good marriage to be actualised it must be built on the aforementioned conditions.

While praying for many more years in the institution of marriage, she wished all who are not happy in their marriages, a happy home and all who are yet to clock 40 in their marriages, to celebrate more years of love, peace abundant blessings in the institution.
