NWABUOZOR FAMILY WELCOMES TRIPLETS, EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO GOD, SEEKS ASSISTANCE
The family of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Nwabuozor has expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the safe delivery of. their set of triplets as they seized the opportunity to appeal for assistance.
The couple who spoke to our correspondent at the residence of the mother-in-law of Mr. Solomon Nwabuozor at Ohumere, Ime-Obi, Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, thanked God for the gift of the triplets.
They disclosed that the triplets are all females and were delivered on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the Central Hospital, Agbor.
The couple revealed that they are low-income earners, adding that as much as they were joyful for the wonderful gift from God, the economic situation in the country today, makes it very difficult for them to cater for the triplets, saying that before now, they had a son, making them four children they are catering for.
The father of the triplets, a 30-year-old native of Alijemisi quarters in Alisimie, a motorcycle repairer along Obi Ikenchuku Road, Ime-Obi, affirmed that he is proud to be a father to the triplets, but expressed fears on how to cope with the task of taking care of them due to the high cost of living in the country today.
He however appreciated God for safe delivery, adding that his wife Mrs. Joy Nwabuozor delivered the triplets safely without complications, something he said was a miracle in today’s world.
Moreso, he said that aside from being a motorcycle mechanic, the wife recently concluded an apprenticeship as a hair stylist, and was yet to establish her hairdressing salon, which according to him, means that they will have to depend on his meager earnings to cater for the triplets.
In his words, “The delivery of the babies is beyond mere mortals, and I am thankful to God for the gift.
“I would wish to give the children the best care they deserve but I am financially incapacitated due to my low-income job. If I had been assisted as a child, I would have gone far in life. I don’t want my children to face the same situation. My wife and I are soliciting for financial and moral support from government and well-meaning Nigerians to help us raise these children and give them a solid education,” he said.
He, therefore called for the support of Delta State government, corporate bodies, religious and secular organizations, and well-meaning individuals.
Parents of the triplets can be reached on 09017798046 for financial support while their account details are: 0201263218, Solomon Nwabuozor Union Bank.
