Speaking, the Senior Pastor of Kingship Life Assembly, Pastor Chukwuemeke P. Iruh stated that his heart was filled with joy and thanks to God Almighty for the success story of the church. He disclosed that the birth of the church was originally from Firm Foundation Ministry where he pastored before he was given the blessings to operate on his own in 2011. He pointed out that it was not easy but by God’s grace, the ministry has grown beyond their expectations. He said he had a dream of the church in 2010, saying the name of the church was revealed to him in Revelation 5vs 10.

While thanking all who came to share in their joy, he stressed that the reason for the awards is to acknowledge the awardees for their humanitarian service. According to him, “You will not tell the history of this church without mentioning the support of Obi Efeizomor. Truly the Owa monarch has been an instrument towards the growth and development of Owa Kingdom and Ika land at large. The same thing goes to the other awardees, Pa. Okowa, Ebonka, Osaghae and Akpaokwueze who have in many ways expressed their kindness towards the growth and development of the house of God and the community as whole. We hope these awards will spur them to do more and I pray the Lord to give them the strength”.

Pastor Iruh who said he is not a politician and that he does not run after politicians for help, stated that with his job as a Civil Servant and help from his church members, they have been able to build an edifice for God and opened a school name: Kingdom Dominion Nursery and Primary School which also has received approval from government.

Pastor Samuel Osaghae who commissioned the church in his message tasked all present to cultivate the attitude of giving thanks to God no matter what the prevailing circumstance may be. His words, “it takes gratitude to move to the next level. Giving God thanks is the secret to receiving more of His blessings. People should learn always to say, ‘God, thank you sir’ for the gift of life and for all that He has blessed us with. The spirit of ingratitude has kept many people stagnant. Many pastors today, not minding the years of their existence have not been able to build their church because they have the spirit of jealousy and murmuring in them. In any condition you find yourself, give thanks because that you are alive today means that your tomorrow will be better. The words, ‘thank you Jesus’ are the secret to success in life. Practice it and experience the miracle”, he admonished.

Beaming with smiles, Obi Efeizomor sang praises to God, revealing that he was inspired like never before with the admonition of the guest preacher, Pastor Osaghae. He thanked God for his life, saying he felt highly honoured with the award given to him. He said Pastor Iruh had made him proud. He congratulated him on the success story of his ministry.
