According to Mr. Onyeka Ujedibie, the Secretary of the group, who represented the president of the Okowa Legacy Group, Dr. (Mrs.) Isioma Okobah, who also doubles as the Chairman of Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency and the Executive Assistant on E-Health Programme to the Delta State Governor, charged members of the group to ensure that they participate actively in the voters registration exercise in order to have the voter’s card, which is the only weapon they need to bring the Governor back to power in 2019.

Continuing, he informed the gathering that the governor has done very well in the area of road construction, infrastructure and human capital development; emphasizing that Governor Okowa has been very proactive in delivering the dividends of democracy to every nook and cranny of the state. He noted that the state has not had it so good in the past, hence, to consolidate on the giant strides recorded by the state number one citizen, there is need for the masses to come out and vote en mass for Dr. Okowa, knowing that with him more dividends of democracy will come to members of the community.

In a related development, some executive members of the Okowa Legacy Group, also visited a socio-political association known as Otu Uche Buluofu, in order for both groups to work together in actualizing victory for Governor Okowa come 2019, for a second term.

In a brief speech during the meeting of both groups, the Chairman of Otu Uche Buluofu, Chief Okolie Golu, commended members of the Okowa Legacy Group for the visit. He assured them of their readiness to partner with the group in actualizing their goal.

However, he maintained that they would prefer meeting with the President of the group, Dr. (Mrs.) Isioma Okobah, for a round table talk, before they can give their full consent to their request.
