By Judith Atorough

The traditional ruler of Owa kingdom, in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II, on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, reaffirmed his love for the Igbo Ezue Social Cultural group, disclosing that the Igbos played vital role in his life while growing up.

The monarch noted this while in the company of the traditional ruler of Umunede kingdom, His Majesty, Ezeagwu Ezenwali I, during the official inauguration of Ika North East Chapter of Igbo Ezue Social Cultural group.

However, the monarch frowned at the attitude of other Igbos who are dragging the   kingdom’s reputation in a matter he described as “falsehood and lies from the pit of hell”.

He appreciated the Ika North East Chapter of the Igbo Ezue, for standing by him, advising them to always consult the palace on issues bordering the group, while assuring them of his support.

Earlier, the president  of  Igbo Ezue Social Cultural group, Mr. Peter Ebubedike,  appealed to all to always demonstrate support and loyalty to traditional rulers within and outside their domain to ensure an effective and productivity leadership.

While disassociating themselves from those dragging the reputation of Owa kingdom, said it’s unfair to falsely accuse any traditional ruler.
