OWA MONARCH SWEARS-IN IGBO-EZUE INTERIM COMMITTEE

The traditional ruler of Owa kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor, II, on Saturday, 1st November, 2024, inaugurated an interim committee of the Pan Igbo Association also known as Igbo-Ezue Social Association, in Ika Federal constituency.
The monarch while dissolving the immediate past executive and swearing in new the committee, charged all to embrace peace and to ensure that the newly sworn-in committee is given a chance to operate and lead the group pending when the executive will be elected.

The monarch through his Chiefs charged the elected committee to be transparent, peaceful and should be accountable in the course of running the affairs of the Ndigbos in Ika land.
In a chat with our correspondent, the newly elected president, Mr. Peter Ebubedike, appreciated the monarch for his wisdom of handling the issues affecting the association, assuring not to betray the confidence repose in him.
The president while noting that Igbo Ezue is a social association of all Igbos from the five speaking Igbo states to include: Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Abia and Ebonyi states who are residence in both Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Areas of Delta State, disclosed that the sole aim of the association is to foster peace and unity among the Igbo people.
The interim President Ebubedike, while calling on all members of the association to stand united, noted that they all need each to drive the association to success.
