OZA-NOGOGO WIDOWS IN JOYOUS MOOD, AS IGBODO VISITS

It was a joyous moment for the One Hundred and Twenty widows at Oza-Nogogo, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, on Monday, September 3, 2018, when Prophet Joseph Igbodo, in his usual act of humanitarian gesture, visited and presented some food items and toiletries to the widows.

The General Overseer, Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International and the Proprietor Job Orphanage Home and St. Stephen Trust Widows Home, all in Agbor, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, in company of some of his pastors visited the widows who came from the various quarters of the community, at the Church Auditorium of Christ Abundant Miracle Ministry, Oza-Nogogo.

In a brief exhortation, Prophet Igbodo, while admonishing the widows, informed them that the visit was a divine mission, aimed at making them to know God and be steadfast with Him, so that they and their children will continue to be in good health and enjoy God’s blessings. He urged them to refrain from sin, in order to enjoy bountiful relationship with God, noting that when they live a clean and righteous life, God will continually hearken to their prayers whenever they call upon him.
Continuing, the Prophet of God, informed them that through their prayers and commitments in the work of God, their community would be transformed and witness rapid development, warning them to refrain from any evil habit that is capable of destroying the future of their children. He urged them to love God and desist from hatred.

Speaking further, Prophet Igbodo, encouraged the widows to surrender their lives completely to God, who is the husband of the widows and enjoined them not to have male lovers. Emphasizing that God is not a God of deceit but a great provider who is always ready to bless them and their children, saying that God is the only one who drives away flies, from the cow that doesn’t have tail. He urged them to always pray for their children, in order for God to take away challenges from their lives. He told them that when they serve God diligently, he will grant them their heart desires.

Items presented to the widows include; 10 cartons of Bobo Fruit Juice, 25 cartons of Indomie noodles, 7 packets of Biscuits, 20 rolls of Tissue paper, several packs of Cheese Ball, Toilet Soaps and other items.

While presenting the items, Prophet Igbodo, informed the women that the items were provided by God through spirited individuals and organization and urged them to always remember him and the donors in prayer. He assured them that during his next visit to the community, he will be coming with more food items.

Highpoint of the visit was the praise and worship session. The prayer session featured prayers for the community, the leaders of the community, Prophet Igbodo and his team, the widows and their families.

Mrs. Martha Neiwu, on behalf of the widows appreciated Prophet Igbodo, for his kind gesture towards them.

Speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter, shortly after the programme, some of the widows, namely; Mrs. Christiana Omorogie, Mrs. Agnes Osuhon, Mrs. Yellow Edugie and Mrs. Helen Edosa, in their separate remarks appreciated the man of God for his show of love which has brought joy and a sense of belonging to them. They prayed God to bless Prophet Igbodo and his family abundantly, for being a source of happiness to humanity.

Speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter after the event, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, thanked God for the success of the visit. He commended the widows for honouring his invitation. Continuing, he charged church leaders and pastor to always endeavour to take care of the widows in their congregation, saying that it is the duty of the ministers of God to provide for the widows in their midst and make them happy.

Prophet Joseph Igbodo was accompanied on the visit by Pastor Michael Ukwuoma, Pastor Austine Ikpegbu, Pastor Patrick Ojougboh, Pastor Abraham Maduka, Hon. Kenneth Omoragbon (Former Councillor Ward 3B-Oza-Nogogo, Agbor) Brother Chuks Ossai, Mama Emmanuel and Sister Queen Chuks.
