A popular pastor in Agbor and General Overseer, God’s Own Deliverance Ministry, aka Solution Center, located along Efeizomor Street before Abraka Road, Boji-Boji, Owa, Pastor Emmanuel Opuh has been arrested by the Area Police Command, Agbor for allegedly duping his cousin, Mr. Jolly Buzugbe the sum of Twelve Million Naira (#12,000,000,000). Both of them are from Owanta Community, Ika Northeast Local Government Area, Delta State.
A source who revealed this to Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter said Mr. Jolly Buzugbe, who is based Abroad, had a lot of trust for Pst. Opuh, that was why he sent him the sum of Nine Million Naira (# 9,000,000=) to buy a piece of land for him. Our source disclosed that instead of purchasing the land, pastor Opuh started spending the money on women, getting married to other women outside his matrimonial home.
Continuing, the source said Pst. Opuh did not just end there he also sold a Palm Plantation that Jolly handed over to him to help take care of. The source said the Palm Plantation which Jolly bought with the sum of Six Million Naira (# 6000, 000) was sold for just Three Million Naira (3000, 000) by Pastor Opuh.
Speaking further, the source disclosed that Pst. Opuh after the transactions went and forged the land agreement papers, brought it to his church, invited ten members of his ministry and paid them Fifty Thousand Naira (# 50,000) to help sign the fake documents, which they did. The source revealed that the most annoying aspect of it is that Pastor Opuh did was to carried the documents to Mr. Buzugbe’s House and gave them to his wife, claiming they are original documents of her husband’s property, unknown to her that the signatories on the documents were fake.
The source further said that everything Pastor Opuh has been doing came to light when Mr. Buzugbe came back from Abroad and demanded to see his land, Palm Plantation and the documents which he could not provide to him.
According to the Source, “We came to know that Pastor Opuh renting an apartment for his church member, wife of a Police Officer with three children who cried to him to tell him she was having problems with her husband. Having paid the house rent for her at Owa Alero community and furnished it, Pastor Opuh gave the mother the sum of (#500,000) to start business. Today, as I talk to youth and her children are no longer in the Police Officer’s house.
As at the time of filing this report, Pastor Opuh, has been paraded by the police to arrest his church members who were signatory to the fake documents and ten of them are still at the police custody.
When the Pastor Opuh was contacted on why he being a Pastor would indulge in such unholy act, he blamed it on the devil.
