IKA SOUTH PDP INAUGURATES CAMPAIGN COMMITTEES

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ika South Chapter under the leadership of Hon. Collins Bello has in a bid to have a total coverage of the local government ahead of the Council election fixed for January 6, 2017 inaugurated campaign committee groups.
The various committee groups inaugurated on Thursday November 9, 2017 are to be chaired by an academic and community leader from Agbor kingdom, Chief Dr. Emmanuel U. Tibi.
Other committee groups and their heads include, Committee on Finance, Hon. Barr. Chiedu Ebie: Monitoring Committee, Amb. Paul Alika; Planning and Strategies, Noel Omodon; Committee on Focus Group, Victor Egboegbon; Welfare Committee, Hon. Henry Aghaulor; Contact Committee, Hon. Pa John Nwagimeje; Event Committee, Comr. Jerry Ehiwarior; Protocol Committee, Dcn. Innocent Ayuba Akpokwueze; Evaluation Committee, Mr. Jude Onya; Mobilization Committee, Hon. Festus Okoh; Security Committee, Monday Akpolo and Publicity Committee, Hon. Godwin Ezedom.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Hon. Collins Bello stated that all PDP faithful in the area are members of the campaign group but explained that the need for the various campaign committees cannot be overemphasized, to enable the party have a proper coordination of their election plans.
He appealed to those whose names are not included in the membership of the committees not to feel bad, promising that some of them would be co-opted when the need arises. However, the party Chairman charged the various committee groups to live up to expectations and prayed that God will give them the ability to carry out the task for the victory of the party.
Chief Dr. Emmanuel U. Tibi In his acceptance speech expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for finding him worthy to serve the party in the capacity as the campaign chairman.
He further stressed the need for the campaign committee and thereafter enumerated processes and scheduled dates for the campaign movement to commence from November 15, 2017.
He noted that the party campaign to all the units and Wards in Ika South will commence immediately after the campaign flag off by the state governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in the local government.
On behalf of the various committee heads and members, Chief Dr. Tibi promised they will not fail the party and above all they will ensure that everybody is carried along.
