It was a moment of joy and celebration for the forty widows at Alifekede, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, on Thursday, July 26, 2018, when Prophet Joseph Igbodo, in his humanitarian benevolence, visited and presented some food items and toiletries to the widows.
The General Overseer, Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International Agbor, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, in company of some of his pastors, visited the widows who came from different quarters of the community at the Christ Chosen Church of God premises Alifekede. Upon arrival, the prophet of God, appreciated the host pastor and his wife for the wonderful work they are doing at the community, he urged the pastor in charge of the station, Rev. Imadonwinyi Iyobosa, to make sure that his life affects Alifekede community, by making the people to receive Jesus Christ, he charged him to preach salvation in order for their soul to enjoy the salvation of God, adding that as a minster of the gospel sent to a particular community, the work which he is doing has a lot of challenges, hence when a pastor is lazy, he goes into poverty, but when he works in accordance to the instructions and ways of the lord he would benefit greatly from God.
Admonishing the widows, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who is also the proprietor of Job Orphanage Home and St. Stephen Truth Widows Home, all in Agbor, informed them that God is a good God of which when they follow Him steadfastly and be committed to His works, God will become their husband, and give them good health, long life, prosper their children and bless whatever they do. He noted that today’s world is full of evil hence the need for them to cleave solely unto God or else they would be destroyed easily by the wicked ones; saying that life is not bread and butter, but a battle field. He encouraged those that are not Christians among the widows to surrender their lives totally to God, urging them to decide to follows God, for without God, there is no life for them; emphasizing that only Almighty God has the solution to the problems of man.
Speaking further, Prophet Joseph Igbodo informed them that the program is a divine mission, which enables him and his team to reach out to widows in the rural communities, by bringing them the undiluted words of God and affecting their lives positively. He stated that he is a prophet who does not preach money, but one who preaches the God that makes money. He urged them to always pray for their station pastor and all the pastors in Ika land, in order for God’s presence and blessings to continually reign upon the land.
Items presented to the widows include; 6 bags of rice, 16 cartons of indomie noddle, 8 rolls of tissue paper, 4 cartons of bob fruit juice, one carton of carbin biscuit, 2 packets of sweet and 4 packs of cheese ball.
Prophet Igbodo, while presenting the items, informed the women that they were provided by spirited individuals and organizations and urged them to always remember him and the people God is using to provide for them in prayers.
High point of the visit was the praise and worship and prayer session by all present, for the community.
Mrs. Mary Elelegwu, on behalf of the widows appreciated Prophet Igbodo, for putting smiles on their faces.
In the same vein, Rev. Imadonmwinyi Iyobosa, appreciated Prophet Joseph Igbodo, for the food items he presented to the widows and prayed God to bless his ministry.
Prophet Joseph Igbodo, was accompanied on the visit by Pastor Michael Ukwuoma, Pastor Austine Ikpegbu, Pastor Patrick Ojougboh, Pastor Destiny Opute and Brother Chuks Ossai.
