RESIDENTS OF ABUDE STREET JUBILATE AS IKA SOUTH LGA EMBARKS ON ROAD CONSTRUCTION

Residents of Abude Street in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria are in happy mood as their long-awaited dream of having a constructed road is finally coming to fruition.

They commended the efforts of Ika South local government chairman, Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior, as they now look forward to a smoother and more convenient commute.

According to Mrs. Faith Johnbull, a resident who spoke to our correspondents, for years, the residents of Abude Street have had to endure bumpy and muddy roads, making it a daily struggle to navigate through the community.

Mrs. Johnbull affirmed that,   this not only caused inconvenience, but also posed a safety hazard for the residents, especially during the rainy season.

However, she noted that their prayers were answered when the local government council embarked on the construction of the road.

Mr. J. N. Oloto another resident, said that, the news of the road construction has brought immense joy to people in the area, and that, the residents are full of praise and gratitude to Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior, who has been at the forefront of  the project.

Mr. Oloto averred that the chairman of Ika South Local Government Council, has shown great dedication and commitment to improving the lives of the people in his local government, and the residents are happy to see his efforts.

He said that, the road construction project is not only a source of relief for the residents but also a source of economic growth for the people who do business along the street.

Speaking further, he added that the improved road infrastructure will attract more investors and businesses to the area, creating job opportunities for the locals and boosting the economy of the community.

This is a significant development, according to him, is something residents of Abude street, are eager to experience.

Aside from the economic benefits, he noted that the road construction has also brought about a sense of unity and togetherness within the community, as residents have come together in support of the project, offering their time and resources to ensure its success.

On his part, Mr. Godwin Okoro said that, residents of Abude Street are filled with gratitude and joy as the local government council embarked on construction of their road.

Mr. Okoro pointed out that, the efforts of Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior and the local government council have not gone unnoticed, and that, the residents are forever grateful.

He stated that, with the completion of this project, Abude Street will not only have a well-constructed road but also a united and thriving community.

Meanwhile, all who spoke prayed that God Almighty will continue to strengthen the council chairman, and give him the wisdom to do well in his office.
