A well respected Pastor in Umunede Kingdom in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Rev. Pastor Sunday Egbule has frowned at the rate of idol worshiping in Ika land, especially among the youths who want to acquire wealth by all means.
He stated this during the week while speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper reporter, saying that many young ones, in their quest for riches, have acquired their own private temples in their various houses.
The man of God disclosed that since 2023, the means of amassing wealth and the erection of evil altars by internet fraudsters aka yohoo yahoo boys has skyrocketed and taking another dimension as some of them now get involve in killing and shedding of human blood to get rich quick.
Rev. Egbule pointed out that before now, “Izanmor” (call to serve marine spirit) was mainly found among women folks but said some young men have now joined in the practice and carry the pot of native chalk for the women.

Rev. Egbule emphasized that many communities are experiencing growth and development because they made God their priority, saying that going back to idol worship would only pave way to suffering and unending hardship in the land.
He enjoined parents and leaders in the community to refrain their children from getting involve in yahoo yahoo business, saying that the repercussion of practicing internet fraud is huge and enormous.
He added that “Izanmor” among the young men and women in some Ika Communities will not bring anything good to the people, noting that God remains the answer to any successful community.
