According to a source, Ololo confessed that they were two among the members of the group that embarked on the mission which made him out of anger to hit Mr. Nwaki with an object at the building site that unfortunately led to his death.
However, the news of Ololo’s arrest engendered jubilation among Agbor residents particularly, the bereaved family who had earlier called for justice to prevail.
Some of the residents who spoke on the condition of anonymity, bemoaned the persistent oppression by members of the adhoc committee whom they said are made up of thugs, engaged by the leadership of Ika South Local Government Council to collect new building permit on her behalf.
They said many labourers at new building sites in the area had encountered several life threatening attacks and their equipment seized by the group in a bid to collecting monies for new building permit which according to them were being charged arbitrarily.
They accused the Council Chairman, Hon Fred Ofume of being responsible for the oppression meted on prospective builders and labourers, explaining that the council should have encouraged residents to pay their building permits directly to the council instead of contracting the job out to these groups.
However, they called on Hon. Ofume to do the needful by taking charge of his responsibilities.
As at the time of filing this report, Ololo was said to have been transferred to the Police Command in Asaba.
