VALENTINA MICHAEL ONYEKA CRIES OUT FOR HELP
The young lady who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, Miss Valentina Onyeka Michael has again made an appeal to Ika sons and daughters around the globe to come to her aid.
Miss Valentina, who hails from Umunede Kingdom in Ika North East Local Government of Delta State, made the appeal through a video call with tears rolling down her cheek while speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper reporter, saying that she is yet to receive any financial assistance from individuals or groups towards her surgery which she said will be done in Egypt or India.
She revealed that her doctors told her that the surgery will cost her 70,000 to 80,000 dollars, saying that her family does not have such huge sum of money to carry out the surgery.
She earnestly appealed to all and sundry not to abandon her on her sick bed or allow her to die, saying that she desires to be among the living with good health so as to accomplish her goals in life.

The vicenarian specially appealed to the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Sen. Ned Nwoko, Hon. Victor Nwokolo, Hon. Anthony Elekeokwuri, Hon. Sebastine Okoh, Hon. Dunkwu Chamberlain, Hon. Barr. Mrs. Marilyn Okowa-Daramola, Members of Ika Association in Toronto, Members of Ika Association in Italy, Churches, and others.
In her words, “Please come and help me live again, do not allow me to die on this sick bed; Please do not abandon me, I am on my kneel; My family cannot afford the money for my surgery”, she appealed in tears.
