This admonition was given by Don while speaking with Ika Weekly Newspapers during his 64th birthday celebration at Shettima Dynasty on Saturday, April 19, 2019. He went on to state that even at 64 he still looks healthy because of his good heart condition towards God and his neighbours, and his calmness over the fortitude of life. His words, “I thank God for keeping me alive to celebrate yet another birthday. I clocked 64 on the 2nd of April, and I am glad to have my children and grandchildren gather round to celebrate with me. It is not a mean feat to have life and health. I am still strong even at 64. It is only with one’s good relationship with God and one’s neighbours that one can be endowed with such goodness.
Also, we should not be over anxious about anything. Life is bound to come with its challenges, but how we face the challenges matters a lot. Be calm and be free in the mind. Some have traded their joy and happiness for inordinate quest for riches. The truth is that we shall all get there, but at different times. So, do not be too anxious to make it in life, because there are consequences.”
